शापूरजी पालोनजी ग्रुपची कंपनी अफकॉन्स इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर कंपनी आयपीओ लाँच करण्याच्या तयारीत आहे. सूत्रांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार हा आयपीओ सुमारे 7,000 कोटी रुपयांचा असू शकतो. शापूरजी पालोनजी समूहाने या आयपीओसाठी ड्राफ्ट रेड हेरिंग प्रॉस्पेक्टस (DRHP) दाखल केला आहे. या आयपीओ अंतर्गत केवळ नवीन शेअर्स जारी करण्याची योजनाच नाही, तर काही शेअर्स ऑफर फॉर सेल (OFS) विंडो अंतर्गत विकले जाऊ शकतात. सूत्रांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार हा आयपीओ 19 हजार कोटी रुपये ते 20 हजार कोटी रुपयांच्या मूल्यात लॉन्च केला जाऊ शकतो.

शापूरजी पालोनजी ग्रुप सध्या कर्ज कमी करण्याच्या धोरणावर काम करत आहे. या अंतर्गत, त्याने अलीकडेच गोपाळपूर बंदरातील आपला हिस्सा अदानी पोर्ट्स आणि स्पेशल इकॉनॉमिक झोन यांना 3,000 कोटी रुपयांपेक्षा जास्त एंटरप्राइझ मूल्याने विकला. बंदरातील भागभांडवल कमी करण्याचा हा दुसरा करार होता. यापूर्वी, समूहाने त्यांचे धरमतर बंदर JSW इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चरला 710 कोटी रुपयांच्या एंटरप्राइझ मूल्यासाठी विकले होते. गोपालपूर बंदरातील हिस्सा विकल्यानंतर शापूरजी पालोनजी म्हणाले होते की, समूहाचे कर्ज कमी करण्याच्या दिशेने हे एक महत्त्वाचे पाऊल आहे आणि त्यामुळे पुढील वाढीसाठी चांगल्या संधी निर्माण होतील. समूहाने म्हटले की यामुळे देश-विदेशातील त्याच्या मूळ व्यवसायातील जागतिक मागणीच्या ट्रेंडचा फायदा घेण्यास मदत होईल.

Currently, promoter and promoter group entities own 99.48 percent stake in Maharashtra- based Afcons Infrastructure.
