How are partnership firms taxed in India?

Section 40(b) : Interest / Remuneration / Commission / Bonus to Partners :

Payment of Interest / Bonus / Remuneration allowed on Book profit
1. Remuneration to working P/S only.2. It should be authorised by deed.

3. Not be retrospective

4. Interest on P/S Capital and loan

max. 12% p.a. simple interest

 

On first Rs 3,00,000 of B.P

or

90% of B.P. or Rs 1,50,000

(Whichever is higher)

For Balance 60% of Book Profit

मागील वर्षातील सर्व भागीदारांना जास्तीत जास्त पगार, बोनस, कमिशन किंवा इतर मोबदला खालील मर्यादेपेक्षा जास्त नसावा: पहिल्या 3 लाख पुस्तकाच्या नफ्यावर किंवा तोटा झाल्यास – ₹ 1, 50,000 किंवा पुस्तकाच्या 90% नफा (जे जास्त असेल ते). शिल्लक पुस्तकाच्या नफ्यावर पुस्तकाच्या नफ्याच्या 60%
