Financial Assistance For Women: Women’s Day is a day to honor women. March 8 is celebrated as International Women’s Day. Many activities are being carried out on this occasion to remove oppression and injustice against women and to make them aware of their rights. The Delhi government today (March 4) while presenting its budget has announced a financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month to women. Let us know about some other states where women are financially supported in this way.

दिल्लीच्या अरविंद केजरीवाल सरकारनं आज राज्याचा अर्थसंकल्प सादर केला आहे. यामध्ये अनेक योजनांना समावेश आहे. त्यात महिलांसाठी विशेष योजना आखण्यात आल्या आहेत. महिलांसाठी डीटीसी बसचा प्रवास आधीच विनामूल्य होता आणि आता दिल्ली सरकार महिलांना आर्थिक लाभही देऊ करणार आहे. राज्याच्या अर्थमंत्री आतिशी मार्लेना यांनी महिलांना दरमहा 1000 रुपये देण्याचं जाहीर केलं आहे. दिल्ली सरकारने महिला सन्मान योजनेअंतर्गत प्रत्येक महिन्याला एक हजार रुपयांची आर्थिक मदत महिलांना देण्याचं ठरवलं आहे. केवळ दिल्लीतच नव्हे तर देशात अन्य राज्यांमध्येही अशा काही योजना राबवल्या जातात.

Women empowerment in Chhattisgarh too – Mahatari Vandan Yojana

The state government has implemented Mahatari Vandana Yojana for women empowerment in Chhattisgarh. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month will be given to women. That is, they will be given financial assistance of Rs 12000 per year. The application for this has started and the scheme will be implemented from the month of March itself.

छत्तीसगड सरकारने महातरी वंदन योजना-2024 जाहीर केली आहे, ज्यामध्ये 21 वर्षांपेक्षा जास्त वयाच्या विवाहित महिलांना मासिक 1,000 रुपये आणि वार्षिक 12,000 रुपयांची आर्थिक मदत दिली जाते.

आंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिनानिमित्त सरकार ७ मार्च रोजी सर्व जिल्हे, ब्लॉक मुख्यालये, शहरी संस्था भागात महतरी वंदन संमेलन आयोजित करेल. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी देखील जनतेला अक्षरशः संबोधित करतील आणि लाभार्थ्यांशी बोलतील.

Ladli Behan Yojana in Madhya Pradesh

The then Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh, had introduced the Ladli Behan Yojana for women. Under this scheme, 1250 rupees per month was paid into women’s accounts by the government. That is, under the Ladli Behan Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 15000 is given to the women of Madhya Pradesh in a year. Even after the new government came into existence in Madhya Pradesh, the scheme continues as before. So far crores of women have benefited under this scheme.

1000 rupees in Tamil Nadu

Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M. K. Stalin also implemented “Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogde Thittam” scheme to provide financial benefits to women. Under this, 1000 rupees are paid into women’s account every month. Also M. K. Stalin has also given women a separate debit card. More than one crore women are benefiting from this scheme. Even the Aam Aadmi government in Punjab had announced this before the elections. It has been mentioned that after the formation of the government, women will be given 1000 rupees per month.

Himachal CM announces ₹1,500 financial aid for women above 18 years of age

हिमाचल प्रदेशातील राजकीय गोंधळ मिटताना दिसत असतानाच, मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सुखू यांनी सोमवारी जाहीर केले की चालू आर्थिक वर्षात 18 वर्षांवरील महिलांना 1,500 रुपये मासिक आर्थिक मदत दिली जाईल.

राज्याच्या प्रगतीत महिलांचे योगदान अतुलनीय आहे, याकडे लक्ष वेधून श्री. सखू म्हणाले की, ‘इंदिरा गांधी प्यारी बेहना सुख सन्मान निधी योजने’अंतर्गत राज्यातील १८ वर्षांवरील सर्व महिलांना प्रत्येकी ₹१,५०० दिले जातील. महिना “आमचे सरकार तुमचा सन्मान आणि तुमच्या हक्कांसाठी पूर्णपणे वचनबद्ध आहे,” असे त्यांनी शिमला येथे पत्रकार परिषदेत सांगितले.

निवडणूकपूर्व हमी पूर्ण करण्याच्या काँग्रेसच्या वचनबद्धतेचा एक भाग म्हणून हा निर्णय घेण्यात आल्याचे ते म्हणाले. ही आर्थिक मदत चालू आर्थिक वर्षात दिली जाईल, ज्यामुळे राज्याच्या तिजोरीवर वार्षिक सुमारे ₹800 कोटींचा अतिरिक्त आर्थिक बोजा पडेल. सुमारे पाच लाख महिलांना या योजनेचा लाभ अपेक्षित असल्याचे ते म्हणाले.

“या निर्णयातून महिलांप्रती सरकारची संवेदनशीलता दिसून येते आणि ही रक्कम त्यांच्या आर्थिक आणि सामाजिक उन्नतीसाठी मदत करेल. ‘इंदिरा गांधी प्यारी बेहना सुख-सम्मान निधी योजने’ अंतर्गत सरकार लाहौल-स्पीती जिल्ह्यातील सर्व महिलांना आणि फेब्रुवारी 2024 पासून राज्यातील 60 वर्षांपेक्षा जास्त वयाच्या सर्व महिलांना आधीच ₹1,500 प्रदान करत आहे,” ते पुढे म्हणाले.

Uttar Pradesh – Kanya Sumangala Yojana:

  • This scheme provides financial assistance to families with girl children at various stages of their life, including birth, education, and marriage.

Rajasthan – Bhamashah Yojana:

  • The Bhamashah Yojana facilitates direct benefit transfers to women heads of households, promoting financial inclusion and women’s empowerment.

Bihar – Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana:

    • This scheme aims to encourage the welfare and education of girl children by providing financial assistance to families for their education, healthcare, and marriage expenses.

Kerala – Kudumbashree Mission:

    • The Kudumbashree Mission empowers women through self-help groups (SHGs) by providing financial assistance, training, and microcredit to start income-generating activities.

Maharashtra – Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana:

    • This health insurance scheme provides financial assistance to economically disadvantaged families, ensuring cashless health coverage for medical treatments.

Gujarat – Mukhyamantri Mahila Kalyan Yojana:

    • This scheme offers financial assistance and support services to women for skill development, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment.

West Bengal – Kanyashree Prakalpa:

    • Kanyashree Prakalpa is a conditional cash transfer scheme that provides financial assistance to unmarried girls aged 13 to 18 to encourage their retention in schools and delay their marriages.
  • Assam – Kanaklata Mahila Sabalikaran Achoni:
    • This scheme provides financial assistance and support services to women for entrepreneurship, skill development

Objectives of the Scheme: The Financial Assistance Scheme for Women is designed with the following key objectives:
